Complete e-commerce solution:  We can provide your credit card processing, transaction server, and merchant account setup through our partner QuickCommerce.  Funds received on-line from the customer's credit card is transferred directly into your business checking account.

Promotion;  We can provide keyword selection services, manual search engine submission services on a monthly basis, cross linking services, email "opt-in" promotion campaigns, bid-rank search engine keyword placement, customer list database and auto-emailer system, and more!

Submit Description:  You will be asked a set of questions to help us estimate the effort required to build your site.  You will be asked questions such as

	What is the purpose of your website?  Note:  Anderson Creations will not build websites for "adult material" of any kind.  We specialize in "family friendly" sites.
	Who is your intended audience?
	What is your expected traffic?
	Do you intend to use e-commerce?
	How many products or services do you intend to offer for sale?
	What websites do you like as examples of what you want for your website?
	Do you have a graphic design or do you want us to create it?
	Do you have photos and graphics or do you want us to provide them?
	How many pages on the site?
	Is a database required for the site?

Initial Consultation:  After receiving your description, an initial consultation will be scheduled.  This can be face-to-face or telephone, depending on location.  We can discuss what your goals are and what technology can be used to achieve them.  We can give you a feel for the likely costs, and you can decide to proceed to the next phase.

Site Development Proposal:  We will create a proposal for your review.  This proposal will outline the work requested, and will detail estimated costs and time to completion.  All steps up to this point are free of charge.  If you like the proposal, then we proceed to the next step, which is the first step to building your new website.

Site Design and Formal Quotation:  The general information we used to create the proposal must now be turned into very specific details..  This will require a few hours of consultation time with you, plus the quotation preparation time.  This process requires an up-front fee, and is the first cost associated with building your website.

Contract Signing:  Once satisfied with the formal quotation, you can order work to begin on your website.  Work progresses in stages, and are paid for as work progresses.  This enables you to keep close financial control on the project.

Website Graphic Design:  Page banners, buttons, colors, fonts, and other graphics and images are designed and selected.  You will see samples posted to the staging server, viewable from your browser.

Website Server Setup:  Required to view work in-progress, includes domain name registration or transfer, as required.  Live server will have a "under construction" page during the website development.  This stage includes setup of email servers for whatever email accounts you wish to utilize with your domain to support the website, or to provide email addresses for members or employees.  Websites include SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and RealAudio/RealVideo HTML streaming support, unlimited email accounts (setup required), and website statistics.  Unlimited data bandwidth, and up to 500 MB of data (including email accounts).

Website Navigation Structure:  This step includes the creation of all or most of the pages in the site, according to the organization specified.  The pages contain only navigation, titles, and page banners at this stage.

Custom Programming and Training, if required:  Depends on your requirements.  Training may be required depending on content submission requirements and on-line administration.  Custom programming is required for any data based pages, mailing lists, member lists, password-protected members-only pages, calendars, or other "active data" pages.

Building Out The Site:   This includes three elements:

	Content Submission:  You submit content for each of your pages in agreed-upon format.
	Page Creation:  Pages will be created from your content, using the graphic design elements, plus any ordered images or graphic art, forms, and custom programming.
	Testing and Review:  Site testing and review using the staging server.  We will test the functionality of each page, but we will not read your content for error checking.  This is your responsibility.

Other Features:  we can provide additional "special features" such as

	Full Accuracy Visitor Counting.  This is not the same as a "hit" counter or "page" counter, since many visitors do not enter your site at your home page.  In fact, a reasonable sized site may have only 15% of the visitors enter via the home page!.  Capture every user session and show the world how many people are visiting your site!
	Automatic Customer List Generation:  We can build a on-line database of customers and visitors who sign up.  You can then use this list to email special offers, new product info, or other news at regular intervals.  Use web-access administration pages to enter email content and have the website automatically send the email to your list!
	Site Search Engine:  includes site map.  This is a full functionality search engine for just your site.  Updates automatically, and gives detailed list of available pages.  Complex search criteria supported.

Final Edit:  After the site is complete, the final edit pass takes place.  It is the responsibility of the client to check carefully each page.  You are the best person to determine what is acceptable for your page content.  Minor edits and major edits can take place at this time.

Site Launch:  Once satisfied with the website, the site will be transferred to the sites live server.

Promotion:  In order to build traffic, promotion to the top 10 search engines is a must.  This includes selecting keywords and descriptions for inclusion into HTML meta tags, and registering with the search engines on a monthly basis.  Other promotions services we can provide include email promotions to "opt-in" lists, cross-link services, and bid-rank search engine placement.

Maintenance:  A static website is a dead website.  If you want to keep visitors coming, you have to keep adding or changing the content.  Also, monthly monitoring and improvement of the search engine positioning for your site is recommended.  Our maintenance includes website statistics, and a preset number of page updates.

LuminousImpressions.com - this is an example of an extensively data-driven website.  While there are only a few "top" pages, there are many gallery thumbnail pages and even more image pages and frame/mat/image pages on this site.  All are generated from a single master page, driven by data access programming.   Thus, you see the selected photo, for example, along with titles, descriptions, prices, frame/mat options, etc. driven by the underlying database.  In addition, there is a "hidden" Gallery Manager, accessible to member Artists, which allows each artist to create and maintain the complete online store of his art from his own computer.  This is an excellent example of a program-heavy site, but still its total cost was under $2000, including database development and all programming.  Visit at LuminousImpressions.com.

AddictionProofing.com - this 2-column website uses a simplified navigation system that does not change from page to page, thus making the design low-cost.  However, JavaScript rollovers are included, as well as a full statistics subsystem and visitor counter.  The entire process, including fully custom design and implementation, was around $700, including domains, hosting for 1 year, and a 17-page administration subsystem for managing the mailing list and sending out fully edited on-site HTML emails to the mailing list.  It also includes a visitor feedback system, as well as a newsletter signup database with automatic unsubscribe function (simply click on the confirmation email unsubscribe link and you get unsubscribed automatically).  Total elapsed time from start to finish was about 3 days.  There are 16 pages in the main site (some not visible unless you sign up for the newsletter, etc.).

WhatGodIntended.com - this large website uses a 2-column layout, and has a very nice custom multi-layer navigation system with JavaScript rollovers.  A very nice custom content rotation function is used for the dynamic "testimony" window on many of the pages.  This window displays a random selection from a list of available testimonies to increase the dynamic feeling of the website.  It also features database functions, mailing list and email newsletter management (hidden from public view in the password protected administration section), and a full e-commerce solution.

lifewalking.com - this is a small, single-column website.  This site includes a small bookstore, using PayPal for e-commerce.  It includes a mailing list generated automatically when a visitor requests an article to be mailed to their email address.  Simple graphics, clean look, and very low cost.

2live4.com - This is my "personal" website.  For the longest time, it was also just a basic FrontPage website.  I just did not have enough time to redesign it.  After several redesign efforts, I finally hit upon a design I really liked.  Lots of beautiful photography, with lots more to come over the coming years, as I get time to work on my vast library of photography.

ORANJonline.com - This website has more to it than you can see.  There is a member login page (Members Center), which allows a ORANJ member to see many more navigation buttons on the left panel.  The site also includes a forum for its members.  In the members area, a page is dedicated to job opportunities that are posted by members.  The job opportunities can be edited or deleted by the same member (only), and will automatically expire on the date set by the member.  In addition, there is a membership database administration subsystem that allows the website administrator to manage the member database.  Forgotten member numbers and passwords can be automatically sent to the members email address on request.  So on the surface, a simple website.  Under the hood, however, is a data-driven members area.  Visit at ORANJonline.com
